William Hill Sponsors King George VI Chase Until 2015

William Hill have sealed new three-year deal with Kempton Park which will see the bookmaker sponsor the King George VI Chase through to 2015.

The agreement will see William Hill as headline sponsor of Kempton’s winter festival for a minimum of seven years, with prize-money at the Christmas meeting boosted by 15 per cent from 2013.

Two handicaps on the second day of the meeting are set to benefit from the additional prize-money, while the firm has also extended its sponsorship of other jumps meetings at the track throughout the winter including William Hill Lanzarote Day.

Ralph Topping, CEO of William Hill, said: “This message reaffirms our long-term commitment to one of the jewels of the national hunt season.

“By increasing our contribution to the William Hill winter festival by more than 15 per cent, we are bucking the culture of cutbacks and putting our money into this major festival.”
