VaporBrands to Sponsor NASCAR’s Jeb Burton

February 19, 2014

VaporBrands International, Inc., and its e-cigarette brand, VAMP, announced a new partnership with ThorSport Racing, serving as primary sponsor of the No. 13 Toyota Tundra driven by Jeb Burton.

Second-generation driver Burton will continue to follow in his father Ward Burton’s footsteps at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) this weekend, competing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) NextEra Energy Resources 250. Finishing fifth in the 2013 season-opener at DIS, Burton will be making his second Truck Series appearance at the 2.5-mile superspeedway on Friday night, live on FOX Sports 1.

“VaporBrands International, Inc. is a marketing and development company striving to achieve commercial success for our partners in various markets across the globe,” Wendy Haviland, President of VaporBrands International, Inc. said. “We were looking to connect our e-cigarette brand, VAMP, with highly engaged and brand-loyal consumers and NASCAR, specifically Jeb Burton and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series were a natural fit for the promotion of our company and the launch of our brand.”

Burton signed with ThorSport Racing for the season kick-off event on February 6, shortly after learning his former ride would no longer be available. Burton will join teammates Johnny Sauter, a three-time NCWTS winner last season, and 2013 Truck Series Champion Matt Crafton.

“I’m so thankful for the opportunity ThorSport Racing has given me, and the addition of VaporBrands and VAMP to our No. 13 Toyota Tundra makes it so much sweeter,” Burton said. “The timing of this partnership is really a blessing for me and my family and with as good as this team and my truck performed last year at this event I can’t wait to get out on the racetrack Wednesday.

“I can’t thank Duke and Rhonda Thorson and everyone from VaporBrands enough for their support and I’m more ready than ever to put on a great show for them and our fans this week.”
