Rugby Player Andy Goode Pens Deal with Car Leasing Company
October 17, 2011
England and Worcester Warriors Rugby Club star Andy Goode has signed a sponsorship agreement with Windmill Leasing until the end of the season 2011-2012.
The agreement between Windmill Leasing and Goode will see him presented with a top of the range Audi A7 four-door coupe sporting the Windmill Leasing logo.
Goode, who helped Worcester Warriors to reclaim Premiership status last season, originates from the same town as the Bromsgrove based car leasing company. The agreement provides an ideal opportunity for business car lease specialists to show support for a local sporting hero while continuing to raise Windmill Leasing’s profile.
Windmill Leasing is an award-winning provider of company car leasing and contract hire services to businesses throughout the UK. Formed in 2004, the company employs a range of experts in the car leasing field located in its Head Office, Bromsgrove, and a Sheffield satellite office, from which it offers initial advice and ongoing account management services to its clients.
The connection originated from a mutually attended charity golf day in Worcestershire, during which conversations around the deal were initiated.
Keith Townsend, Managing Director of Windmill Leasing, commented: “We are delighted to have entered this sponsorship agreement with Andy Goode. At Windmill Leasing we are always looking at new and innovative ways to raise our company profile and promote our company car leasing services to a wider client base. What better way than to team up with a successful local sportsman who shares our top class winning teamwork ethos.”
In response to the news, Andy Goode tweeted: “Big thanks to Windmill Leasing for supplying an Audi A7 for me. Great car, great guys and a great company – get following them!”
The sponsorship deal marks a further initiative in the recent marketing and operational investment made by Windmill Leasing. Complemented by the launch of a new website, which showcases a range of car leasing deals, the company has recently celebrated the opening of its new office in Sheffield, which will facilitate delivery of a locally based service to customers in the North of England.
Windmill Leasing continues to make advances in the company car leasing market, offering a local service to businesses with the support of a range of experts in the field, and the company looks forward to exploring further innovative ways to market the brand in the future.
