PUMA to Equip Disney World of Sports Complex

PUMA announced that the company’s Sportlifestyle brand will be the official equipment sponsor of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort.
The signing of the new multi-year agreement will allow tens of thousands of players from around the world who compete in tournaments every year at the facility will have early access to PUMA’s latest soccer products. Additionally PUMA will have an increased role in the promotion of Disney Soccer and presence at events and tournaments.

PUMA’s first official event at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex was the Women’s Elite Showcase to the Disney Cup International event this week.
“We’re excited to work with PUMA, which is known for its innovative approach and commitment to athletes who have a passion for soccer,” said Tom Wolber, senior VP of Disney Sports Enterprises. “The addition of PUMA’s soccer equipment will complement the Disney Soccer experience for the athletes who play on our fields.”
The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex has been widely acclaimed as the leading multi-sport venue for amateur and professional sports. The venue has hosted more than 8,000 soccer teams, 100,000 athletes and some 200,000 spectators, coaches and enthusiasts over the past five years with Disney Soccer expanding to become the most popular sport at the complex.
