NOS & Sport1 Get Dutch Media Rights to Champions League Between 2012–15

European soccer’s governing body, UEFA have announced the award of the 2012–15 UEFA Champions League media rights in the Netherlands to NOS and Sport1.

Public broadcaster NOS will show on its channel Nederland 3 the best live game each matchnight, including the final, as well as a highlights programme. Sport1 has been awarded the rights to all UEFA Champions League matches and will broadcast across the Sport1 family of channels at least six games per matchnight, plus highlights programmes on both matchnights.

All rights have been granted on a platform-neutral basis, with the rights also being exploited on the internet via the broadcasters websites and on mobile.

UEFA said: “The combination of NOS and Sport1 coverage will provide football fans with wide access to the competition with a large choice of matches. UEFA is happy to renew its partnership with NOS and Sport1 and looks forward to continuing this successful relationship.”
