MLB extends partnership with Schutt Sports

Major League Baseball (MLB) has renewed its partnership with Schutt Sports as the official base supplier.

As part of the renewal, Schutt will continue to supply all bases, home plates and pitching rubbers for every MLB game.

The company manufactures the Jack Corbett Hollywood bases, a version of which has been on the field for every MLB game, including World Series and All-Star Games, since 1939.

“For nearly 80 years, Major League Baseball has recognized the superior quality of the Jack Corbett Hollywood bases and we’re excited to continue working with the league and every Club,” said Kip Meyer, General Manager, Schutt Sports.

“Our ability to create custom bases for each Club, as well as noteworthy games and events has strengthened our relationship with MLB even more. We’re looking forward to continuing that custom program and supporting the national pastime as we keep innovating together.”
