We are looking for 3 new colleagues to join our Dubai office as Content Protection Manager:

Functions:

  • Work and collaborate with local authorities for the implementation of dynamic and live blocking in UAE.
  • Track websites, forums and messaging groups in search of Apps, web pages, IPTV systems that allow viewing audiovisual content illegally in the UAE.
  • Identify, test or verify new sources of piracy, Apps, forums, etc., in the UAE market, also identifying possible links with other countries.
  • Detect most relevant illegal APPs and APKs in UAE and Middle East region, shall install Apps/APKs, collect evidence and report to official and alternative stores.
  • Perform daily shopping of services and devices that are linked to piracy in UAE, obtaining the necessary technical information for reporting, blocking or service disruption. Have a fluent level of Arabic to be able to maintain a direct interlocution with the pirates.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of the audio-visual fraud situation in UAE, identifying sports organizations and broadcasters most affected by audio-visual fraud.
  • Infiltration and analysis of information in instant messaging groups, WhatsApp, Telegram, Dircord and other platforms, reporting to these companies groups when appropriate.
  • Providing legal and technical support in legal proceedings related to audiovisual fraud cases in UAE, collecting and presenting technical evidence.

Requirements:

  • The person joining the position must be located in Dubai.
  • Native Arabic
  • High English proficiency
  • Background in computer science or Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering
  • Previous experience in anti-piracy

What We’re Looking For:

Chelsea FC are looking for a Web Writer to help with producing and delivering editorial content for Chelsea FC’s official website and app for our global audience.

Brief description and duties:

  • Produce engaging editorial content for our owned channels – specifically the official website but also the official app – to help shape the story around Chelsea, including our Men’s, Women’s and Academy teams.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day editorial output on the club’s official website and app that is suited for our global audience.
  • Work with the editorial team to provide best-in-class written content, including collaboration with other content teams and departments within the business.
  • Interview Men’s, Women’s and Academy players for wide-ranging content pieces to be published on official Chelsea channels.
  • Report on pre- and post-match manager press conferences, with the focus on reporting the Chelsea news first and accurately.
  • Provide leading coverage of home and away fixtures for the Men’s and Women’s teams, with a club-focused approach to reporting.
  • Produce data-focused written content pieces before and after Men’s and Women’s matches.
  • Create in-depth feature pieces that tell important stories around Chelsea and our respective teams.
  • Identify news stories that could be used as content on Chelsea channels.
  • Proactively seek new opportunities for content across the club’s media output.
  • Deliver on Partner and Commercial campaigns as required.
  • Work Men’s and some Women’s games, both home and away on a rota basis, including some European and global travel where required.

Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:

  • Degree in a relevant field or NCTJ qualification.
  • Previous experience in professional football media would be preferred.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Experience of working effectively within strict deadlines and in a fast-paced media environment, demonstrating strong proof reading and researching skills.
  • Highly-capable writer for a variety of purposes and audiences.
  • Experience in dealing with high-profile personalities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital media and a strong knowledge of professional football.
  • Able to deal with sensitive situations tactfully and maintain confidentially at all times.
  • Experience working on cultural and brand campaigns.
  • Ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Confident communicator.

Nice to Haves:

  • Previous experience in professional football media would be preferred.

Description

The Premier League’s Communications team is looking for a Senior Communications Manager to support the wide-ranging operations of the Communications Department. The right candidate will be motivated, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have a strong background in communications.The role will require the candidate to work with the relevant Premier League departments, Clubs and external stakeholders to help promote the League, responding to media and proactive communications planning.

Our hybrid-working model also allows you some variety on your place of work, offering you the chance to work from home on some days each week. Where possible, you will attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering timely and accurate responses to the daily news agenda with particular responsibility for football media
  • Acting as one of the main contacts for journalists and media contacts, developing statements, briefings and responses for journalists and the wider media
  • Working with senior colleagues to devise and deliver media handling strategies, ensuring media messaging is consistently aligned with the Premier League’s policy positions
  • Working closely with the Director of News and Corporate Communications and key Premier League departments to identify media opportunities to promote the Premier League
  • Assist and support the Premier League (external and internal) and Clubs on all communications needs – from news handling to preparing statements, briefs, media releases and organising media events
  • Liaising with communications contacts at Commercial Partners to identify opportunities to promote partnerships and the Premier League generally
  • Reputation – to ensure promotion of the Premier League as a force for good. This should include regular proactive communications of the positive work undertaken by the Football Department (fixtures, registrations, player care, football regulatory)
  • Reputation – work closely with the Director of News and Corporate Communications, and Director of Public Relations to influence the news agenda to better promote positive stories and ensure messaging is consistently aligned with Premier League positioning
  • Support the Legal Department to promote the League’s work in the area of digital piracy
  • Work with the Communications team in ensuring internal communications materials are of a high standard and published regularly (Weekly Update, Weekly Information) and that live brief documents are compiled and regularly reviewed for sharing internally

  • Extensive experience working in communications
  • Proven track record in delivering world-class media handling and communications campaigns
  • Excellent understanding of football and an appreciation of the Premier League’s structure, policies, issues and context in the industry

  • Good interpersonal skills and confidence to deal with senior internal and external figures in a professional manner
