ICC Releases ITT For Rights To Pathway Events

The International Cricket Council releases its Invitation To Tender (ITT) for various rights for ICC Pathway Events from 2025 up until the end of 2027.

Following the successful conclusion of the production and distribution of ICC Pathway Events from 2021-2024, the ICC is now starting the process for the next cycle.

The one combined package consists of 56 Pathway events comprising of 1246 matches across Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cups 2026 and 2028 and Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027. The bundled rights include Broadcast Rights, Event Sponsorship Rights, Data Rights and the successful bidder will also have the obligation to produce all matches. The successful bidder will have exclusivity to show the events live in India while the matches will be beamed live on the ICC’s OTT platform, ICC.tv in the rest of the world.

RFP FOR AUTOMATED VIDEO PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION – ICC

The Successful Applicant shall be required to provide the services listed below, such services to be
delivered by the Successful Applicant always in accordance with any instructions issued by or on
behalf of IBC from time to time.


The ICC is looking for a vendor that can provide near-real-time production of highlights videos and
clips, and enable those videos to be distributed to the ICC’s Content Management System and
social media platforms.


It is expected that Applicant will provide access to a platform that hosts the videos which would be
searchable by automated meta data tagging (eg: player name, shot type) and quality/importance.
The platform should also allow for the creation of ready-to-publish edits with graphics overlays etc.
As well as distributing to the ICC’s CMS and social media platforms, we are looking for a vendor
who can provide a public facing video playback service that leverages the meta-data to provide
social-media-like video viewing experiences to our users.


The ICC will engage the successful bidder to provide services for identified ICC event matches up
until the end of 2027 (see appendix C for full details).

ITT issued for delivery of Fan Parks for ICC Events up until the end of 2025

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT) to partner with world-class and well-established agencies who are interested in delivering Fan Parks for multiple ICC events in 2024 and 2025.

Fan parks provide a platform for fans to connect with each other and with cricket in a unique and immersive way. Delivering into multiple territories allows ICC to tap into diverse markets, tailoring events to local preferences and building stronger connections with a broader fan base.

For the first time the ICC is asking for proposals for events over a longer term. Applicants can submit tenders that can include fan parks in one or more countries, for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 (Bangladesh), the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 (Pakistan), and the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 (India).

This ITT is intended to attract responses from companies with extensive experience in delivering Fan Parks for major international tournaments. It is expected that different agencies will be contracted in different territories. The ICC is also looking for innovative and different finance models for delivery.

ICC launches ITT process for the appointment of a Marketing and Public Relations Services Partner for ICC Events 2024-2026 in South Asia


The ICC would like to invite proposals from interested and qualified applicants to create, develop and implement an integrated Marketing and PR campaign to drive global awareness for the following events:

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 in Bangladesh

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan

ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 in India

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India & Sri Lanka

Applicants should possess extensive experience in Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations in South Asian markets, demonstrating a proven track record of crafting successful, innovative, and captivating consumer campaigns for renowned sporting events or other significant global occasions.

Expressions of interest are sought only from organisations who have the appropriate logistical and infrastructure competence, resources and financial capability to deliver the campaign to a world-class standard.

Interested applicants should request the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document by submitting the following information by email no later than 10h00 Gulf Standard Time on Tuesday 7 May 2024 to marketingITT@icc-cricket.com with the subject line “REQUEST FOR ITT – Marketing and Public Relations Partner ICC Events 2024 to 2026, South Asia.”

All interested applicants should submit, by email, the following:

Full legal name, company number and registered address;
Full name of primary contact at the interested company and office address of primary contact (if different from the company registered address) including a phone number and an email address;
Tax Registration Number if the interested company’s registered office is in the UAE; and
Any other relevant contact information.
Once the required information is received by the ICC, interested parties will receive a Letter to Interested Parties including a Non-Disclosure Agreement for signature and return, together with further instructions, before being issued with any of the tender documents.

ITT for Official Data Rights Partner – ICC

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its Invitation To Tender (ITT) for the ICC’s Official Data Rights Partner up until 2027.

The tender features 13 ICC events up until the end of 2027 and will include men’s and women’s senior and U19s events.

The applicants will have the rights to exploit ICC data rights and provide editorial support services for ICC Events, including provision of event and match preview packs and an official statistician.

This ITT is intended to attract responses from financially strong companies that have demonstrated a history of providing similar services and exploiting comparable rights with the capability to deliver to a world-class standard.

Invitation To Tender for Audio Rights – ICC

The International Cricket Council (ICC) will release its Invitation To Tender (ITT) for Audio Rights for certain territories for all ICC events from 2024 to 2027.

The three available Audio Rights packages available are:

  1. Analogue Radio, Digital Radio and Audio Streaming Rights for UK and Republic of Ireland
  2. Analogue Radio, Digital Radio and Audio Streaming Rights for Australia
  3. Audio Streaming Rights for India

The ITT process also caters for bidders to opt in to produce the Audio World Feed, at its own cost, for ICC Events from 2024-2027 as follows:

  • Production of the live Audio World Feed for all matches of ICC senior men’s and women’s World Cups and for select ICC U19 men’s and women’s World Cup matches.

The Audio World Feed Producer will also have the obligation to produce the following:

  • Audio Podcasts for all ICC Events from 2024-2027
  • Audio Podcasts for each senior men’s event since 1975, including all ICC Cricket World Cups, ICC Champions Trophies, ICC T20 World Cups and the ICC World Test Championship Finals.
  • Audio Podcasts for each senior women’s event since 2012, including all ICC Cricket World Cups, and ICC T20 World Cups.

Please note that it is the intention of the ICC to stream the Audio World Feed and the Audio Podcasts on ICC’s Digital Media Assets on a global basis.

Interested bidders must have the appropriate experience, infrastructure, staffing, resources, capability, and financial standing to produce outstanding live cricket coverage.

ITT for Official Social Media Partner – ICC

The International Cricket Council (ICC) will release its Invitation To Tender (ITT) for the ICC’s Official Social Media Partner from 2024 until 2027.

Following the record-breaking social media performance of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 where fans recorded 16.3 billion video views of the event on Meta platforms – 9.7 billion on Facebook and 6.6 billion on Instagram – the ICC is now starting the process for the next cycle which begins with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA in June.

There are three packages on offer as a part of the tender which feature up to 13 ICC events until the end of 2027 and will include men’s and women’s senior and U19s events.

ITT For Media Rights In Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka – ICC

The International Cricket Council has released its Invitation To Tender (ITT) for media rights in three territories, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka for 2024 to 2025.

Following the successful conclusion of media rights agreements in several markets including India, the United Kingdom and Ireland, the USA and Canada, Sub-Saharan Africa region, Australia and Middle East and North Africa the ICC is now starting the process in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

In Pakistan there are two packages available combining both TV and digital rights including both men’s and women’s rights, with one TV and digital combined package available in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka respectively. The packages will be for three women’s events and three men’s events up until the end of next year.

ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice said: “We are delighted to be releasing the ITT for media rights in three of cricket’s major broadcast markets in South Asia, namely Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, as we continue to build our team of broadcast partners who will take ICC events to more fans across the world.”

BCCI announces the release of Request for Quotation for Partnership Rights for Women’s Premier League

The BCCI invites bids from reputed entities for acquiring official partnership rights for
Women’s Premier League.


The detailed terms and conditions governing the tender process including eligibility requirements, process for submissions of bids, rights and obligations, etc. are contained in the ‘Request for Quotation’ (“RFQ”) which will be made available on receipt of payment of a nonrefundable fee of INR 1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakh Only) plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax. The procedure to procure the RFQ documents is enlisted in Annexure A to this notice. The RFQ will be available for purchase till January 19, 2024.


Interested parties are requested to email the details of payment made for the purchase of the
RFQ to rfq@bcci.tv, as per the procedure laid down in Annexure A. It is clarified that the RFQ
documents shall be shared only upon the confirmation of payment of the non-refundable RFQ
fee.


Any interested party wishing to submit a bid is required to purchase the RFQ. However, only
those satisfying the eligibility criteria set out in the RFQ and subject to the other terms and
conditions set out therein, shall be eligible to bid. It is clarified that merely purchasing the RFQ
does not entitle any person to bid.


The attention of the interested parties is brought to Annexure B which details certain brand
categories in which the interested party cannot bid.
BCCI reserves the right to cancel or amend the bidding process at any stage in any manner
without providing any reason.
