These are your key tasks:

  • Lead and evolve FIFA’s approach to Partnership Management anchored in a strategic relationship model that is pro-active and innovative.
  • Foster, grow and strengthen the relationships across FIFA Commercial Affiliates’ sponsorship management counterparts, activation teams and agencies.
  • Identify & develop impactful marketing programs across multiple mediums (e.g. experiential, digital, retail, CSR, tech & innovation) that drive brand & business results for partners and elevates the fan experience at FIFA events.
  • Lead the planning & delivery of key marketing rights & obligations for Commercial Affiliates across all FIFA tournaments, events and platforms in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Partnership Sales team on negotiating Commercial Affiliate renewals, and support the sales process and onboarding of new partners.
  • Develop strong understanding of commercial affiliates’ core business priorities and marketing objectives to ensure optimum alignment, support and results.
  • Ensure robust understanding across relevant teams of our Commercial Affiliates’ specific product categories and competitive protections.
  • Oversee the management, delivery and tracking of FIFA Commercial Affiliates’ rights, assets and commitments across the term of contract.
  • Lead the debrief and review process with partners following major tournaments and activations.
  • Contribute to any contract updates & rights re-negotiations required with incumbent affiliates.
  • Lead, support and develop a high-performing, positive and engaged team of partnership managers and account support staff.
  • Implement and evolve department processes and systems to maximise efficiency & effectiveness.
  • Manage relevant department and event budgets and forecasting.
  • Contribute to event data, brand tracking and market and competitive analysis.
  • Identify and shape collaboration and integration opportunities for commercial affiliates and FIFA.

The specific competencies and experience we require for this position are:

  • 10+ years of experience leading a global sponsor management portfolio, rights delivery and client servicing for a major international rights holder
  • Proven experience managing major partnerships across global territory and multi-term deals
  • Extensive experience managing multinational partners, including having directly managed blue chip brand sponsors headquartered in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific
  • Proven experience managing and supporting contract renewals of major partnerships ( ie negotiated contracts over USD100m value)
  • Track record of delivering rights and client servicing programs at major international events or tournaments
  • 8+ years of leading and developing a large sponsorship account management team (>10 team members) who service a global portfolio of partners
  • Experience also working ‘client-side’ within marketing, events or sponsorship at a global company or agency
  • Previous experience working with and/or for any of FIFA’s major global partners or sponsors will be viewed positively
  • Cross-functional experience delivering marketing communications, activation programs, or event campaigns leveraging a mixture of online and offline channels, experiential, digital, social and traditional media
  • Experience overseeing the campaign approval systems and processes for major global and local sponsor brands

UEFA today has issued an invitation to tender for the media rights for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 final tournament in the following territories:

Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark (including the Faroe Islands and Greenland), Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Republic of North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland and Ukraine.

The 14th edition of the tournament will be staged in Switzerland in the summer of 2025. Switzerland, being the host country, is automatically qualified with the 15 remaining contenders being decided through the revamped European Qualifiers

Media rights sales for the final tournament are managed by CAA Eleven, UEFA’s exclusive national team sales agent.

The deadline for bids to be submitted is 12:00 CET on Tuesday 11 July 2023.

Men’s Youth Competitions Manager – UEFA

Main goal:

The Men’s Youth Competitions Manager is responsible for managing UEFA’s men’s youth and amateur competitions and supporting the rest of the Men’s National Team Competitions unit, under the supervision and leadership of the head of unit.

Key responsibilities:

– Main point of contact for all matters related to UEFA’s men’s Under-17, Under-19 and amateur competitions
– Supporting the Head of Men’s National Team Competitions with regard to overall concepts and calendars, and contributing to the competitions’ continuous enhancement within the European and world football framework
– Supporting the Head of Men’s National Team Competitions with project planning and budget management
– Representing the unit both inside and outside the Football division as requested by the head of unit
– Contributing to the competition regulations and manuals, as well as bidding procedures and related documents

Senior Manager, Ticketing Operations and Solutions – International Olympic Committee

Oversee and support the effective ticketing Operations and delivery of all Games’ Ticketing Programs in close collaboration with the Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (OCOG)

Main responsibilities

Support the ticketing program’s core systems & solutions

  • Support the OCOG to develop the RFP to define the Ticketing System Provider
  • Support the OCOG during the proposal’s evaluation and in the contractual relationship with the Ticketing System Provider
  • Working with the OCOG to customize reports and other mandatory system integrations, such as payment systems and their operational solutions
  • Working to integrate Stakeholders into the consumer journey and/or in the ticketing and hospitality.
  • Lead the integration between Hospitality, Ticketing, Games Experience and other IOC stakeholders systems

Support future OCOG’s to develop their Ticketing Business Plan

  • Support the OCOG’s development and implementation of ticketing policies, procedures, operating plans and required ticketing sales legal documentation to support the ticketing program.
  • Optimize the development of seating bowl design, to define the prices zones, price categorization and aligned accredited areas
  • Guide the development of the sport by sport business plan, to help OCOG’s to define the ticket prices and the sports that will need more attention in the marketing campaigns.
  • Support the OCOG to plan and achieve targets, based on a solid operational, marketing and sales plan.

Support the OCOG in the preparation of the operational/sales phases

  • Optimize the development and management of venue capacities, starting from the gross capacity to define kills, holds, contingency, among others, until the net capacity/net sellable
  • Leading the IOC/OCOG Seating Bowl Working Group and its optimization of all sellable spaces in venues
  • Ensure the effective allocation and seat assignment of tickets for all Games stakeholders and fans
  • Drive the development and lead the IOC’s final approval of all ticket quotas for all market segments
  • Collaborates with OCOG and internal FAs to successfully integrate the ticketing plan including: GAD, OFS, PRS, OBS, SPT, VEM-VNI, TMS and LGL.
  • In collaboration with internal teams, assist the OCOGs to oversee all stakeholders’ effective participation within the program including the full development of guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Support and participate in the launch of the ticket sales for stakeholder and public sales
  • Ensure that the TKT operations plans are developed and delivered in harmony with Hospitality, Games Experience and other Games planning functional areas.

Games Time and Post Olympic Games’ reconciliation

  • Support the OCOG at Games Time, working close to the teams, understanding and sharing with the IOC the relevant issues that could impact the consumer journey.
  • Monitoring and update possible issues, escalating to the Head of Ticketing and Hospitality issues with potential to impact consumers or the IOC.
  • Support the IOC PMO to collect the needed information to be used as a TOK for future OCOG’s.
  • In close collaboration with LGL and FIN, ensure the reconciliation of all relevant information to assess the performance of the new ticketing model and prepare the future

Euro 2024 Sponsorship Coordinator – UEFA

Sponsorship is an important part of UEFA’s marketing and commercial strategy, and sponsorship partners play a vital role in all UEFA competitions thanks to their financial support and their promotional potential worldwide. The Sponsorship Coordinator works on the development of UEFA’s national team football sponsorship programme, from sponsor contracting and sponsor rights delivery to agency management and sponsor account management. In addition, the Sponsorship Coordinator is responsible for supervising implementation of the sponsorship programme for assigned partners, overseeing their marketing operations and promotional activities, and representing their interests throughout the season.

The role requires excellent knowledge of UEFA’s commercial strategy, UEFA’s marketing platform objectives, sponsorship agreements, sponsors’ rights and obligations, and UEFA’s digital strategy. Main responsibilities

  • Monitor the Olympic Movement in both social and traditional media across regions and languages;

Head of Games Commercial Integration – IOC

As a Head of Games Commercial Integration, you will lead the Games Commercial Integration Function and lead & manage the integration of TOP Partners rights across the Games operations, in particular through the implementation of supply rights.

Main responsibilities

Lead the Games Commercial Integration function:

  • Establish strategic direction and provide support to the Commercial Managers and the relevant IOC and IOC TMS functions to ensure implementation of the Olympic commercial framework by each OCOG and YOGOC.

Commercial Operations Specialist – UEFA

The Commercial Operations Specialist is in charge of implementing operational projects for delivering on-site sponsorship rights to the commercial affiliates to a high professional standard for several top UEFA national team final tournaments: EURO, UEFA Nations League finals, European Under-21 Championship, etc.

This includes appropriate planning and coordination with other UEFA divisions and units, as well as external parties (local organising committees, agencies, etc.) throughout the preparation phase so as to act as a dynamic interface between the organisational and marketing activities teams or appointed third parties, including UEFA’s commercial agents.
The role may also include responsibility for acting as commercial domain leader or representing the appointed commercial domain leader within the team, in the event organisation structure, leading delivery of some on-site sponsor rights such as sponsor guest-related rights, sponsor activation rights and promotional opportunities, sole and exclusive programmes and other individual rights, sponsor commercial association exclusivity (clean stadium principles) and the rights protection programme, sponsor on-site sales rights, sponsor product supply management (value-in-kind services) and any other rights that may be granted to commercial affiliates in future.
As a member of a small team led by a senior manager, the Commercial Operations Specialist also coordinates internally any related information flows to and from commercial affiliates or appointed third parties in collaboration with the subproject leaders or internal competence centres, and organises and manages the required content for some of the competitions.

Key responsibilities:

– Managing and coordinating delivery of commercial affiliates’ rights for UEFA national teams final tournaments, ensuring delivery is to the appropriate standard, on time and within budget 
Maintaining the necessary cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and making a proactive contribution to the marketing aspects of all operational projects

Head of Licensing & Retail – FIFA

The Head of Licensing and Retail is responsible for leading the licensing & retail team and defining the licensing & retail strategy for all FIFA brands, FIFA tournaments and events.
The role will lead cross-integration with all other commercial teams to maximise fan engagement, and develop new opportunities particularly in digital, gaming, esports and other new evolving fan touchpoints.

These are your key tasks:

  • Develop and implement a global licensing and retail strategy that drives fan engagement, revenue growth, new markets development as well as the growth of existing and evolving product categories
  • As part of the strategy define the future models, tactical implementations, operational processes and necessary resources and capabilities to deliver the strategic objectives
  • Together with marketing and brand, and other relevant teams define and develop sustainable FIFA brand licensing propositions, outside of events and tournaments
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with external stakeholders including licensees, licensing representatives and agencies, suppliers, retail operators, and any other strategic partners
