The successful candidate will be the lead specialist on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), holding primary responsibility for the development and implementation of Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix’s (MGP) EDI strategy and objectives. Together with the Chief People Officer and Senior Management Team, you will actively drive the EDI agenda at MGP to help take our culture of inclusion and psychological safety to the next level while ensuring a framework of compliance with the relevant legislation. You will act as the central point of expertise supporting the team at every level.

Key Accountabilities (Duties)

  • To develop MGP’s EDI strategy, objectives, and measures with the Senior Management team.
  • To influence and provide guidance on how to operationalise MGP’s EDI strategy & objectives.
  • Actively guide the team to further embed EDI practices into processes including recruitment and selection, performance review, talent and career development etc.
  • Review, challenge and improve current policies, procedures and practices in line with our See it, Say it, Fix it philosophy.
  • Be pro-active in updating EDI related policies in line with legislative changes and internal practices.
  • Ensure internal and external communications reflect our programme of activities and strategy.
  • Establish, lead and support projects / working groups / mentors as appropriate to focus on key EDI opportunities together with the Team’s management committees. 
  • To establish and be the point of contact for our collaborations with partners who support our strategic goals (including Mullberry Trust, Stemettes, AFBE, Sutton Trust, Disability Forum).
  • Get involved and lead to ensure that EDI ‘events’ achieve their objectives.
  • Own the data and reporting relevant to EDI agenda, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Design and deliver of EDI training, various materials that support the learning and development of team members.
  • Provide individual support to staff when required.
  • Manage the EDI budget and allocation of resources.
  • Lead audit and the closing of all actions.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

The Role

We are looking for a Junior Account Manager to expand our client Account Management team. Head of Digital Media Rights – Formula 1

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to F1’s Director of Media Rights and Content Creation, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of F1’s global digital media distribution strategy across owned and operated digital platforms, social media, broadcasters and other third-party channels
  • Identify new opportunities within the fast-evolving media landscape, and grow F1’s reach, engagement and revenue through the creative deployment of digital rights
  • Lead the commercial development of F1’s OTT service F1TV, partnering with Product, Delivery and Marketing teams to develop and execute on commercial strategies and partnerships that drive revenue growth and cost efficiencies
  • Work closely with the Heads of Media Rights to align linear and digital strategies in each market, and deliver against digital media requirements in F1’s core rights deals
  • Lead F1’s global commercial relationships with social and digital media platforms, building long-term partnerships that improve reach and engagement, whilst supporting F1’s fast-growing digital advertising business
  • Lead F1’s audio, photography, esports media and sports data businesses, driving growth through new and existing partnerships and innovative business models 
  • Assume full accountability for financial performance, ensuring revenues and expenses are in line with agreed budget targets each year
  • Manage the Digital Media Rights team, working alongside the wider Media Rights team and colleagues in F1’s Product, Delivery, Marketing, Finance and Legal teams

Experience:

  • 10+ years extensive experience combined in digital media business development, media rights distribution strategy and revenue generation
  • 3+ years building and leading deal-oriented teams
  • Proven track record of revenue generation, P&L responsibility and delivering against revenue targets 
  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum 

Knowledge and Skills

Senior Risk and Performance Manager – Premier League


The Premier League’s Strategy team is looking to appoint a Senior Risk and Performance Manager to proactively manage the business’ principal risks and track the performance of the business’ strategy.

The Senior Risk and Performance Manager will play a central role in shaping how the business engages with risks and strategic opportunities, working closely with senior decision-makers. Event Director – NBA (London)

Position Summary 

The NBA’s international offices work to carry out the league’s strategy of growing the game of basketball globally by hosting NBA events around the world, creating sponsorship opportunities for local businesses, developing merchandising strategies with regional licensees, selling international media packages, and overseeing international public and media relations. Based in London, this position will work across all business units on the design, planning, and implementation of NBA events throughout Europe & the Middle East.

Major Responsibilities 

  • Key contributor to the planning and execution of EME experiential events (i.e., basketball activities, hospitality events, fan festivals, concerts, etc.)
  • Lead the management of event budgets for specific event platforms including tracking all event costs, serving as primary contact for Finance team
  • Support Head of Fan Engagement & DTC – EME in working across various departments to develop new concepts to be monetized with focus on identifying opportunities within existing properties. Objective would be to identify new revenue opportunities for existing and new EME partners and leverage events to drive subscriber growth for our DTC business

Your role

The Sporting Communications Manager is a high-profile role at the forefront of Formula E’s publicity of races, drivers, teams and host cities.

Essentially, the role aligns race operations with media relations. It is a pivotal position requiring close collaboration with multiple stakeholders and day-to-day working relationships including with the FIA; race team PRs plus drivers and Team Principals; event delivery personnel including promoters and partners; sporting and race personnel; and working media including journalists, photographers, camera crews and content creators. Ultimately, the purpose of the role is to enable media to access the Championship positively and professionally by creating the best possible conditions to encourage favourable media coverage of Formula E.

  • Prepare event and media communications for candidate cities and mentoring candidate city PRs with Formula E communications best practice and policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the communications representatives at local operators and promotors in host cities
  • Coordinate crisis management plans both internally and externally with the FIA Media Delegate
  • Co-ordinate with Formula E’s network of international PR agencies to distribute sporting media content and secure local motorsport media coverage and attendance at races.

What we are looking for

Experience required:

  • Experience working in a fully operational live sporting event environment
  • Strong experience in a communications role preferably in an event organisation
  • Experience of working on communications strategies and/or campaigns in motorsport and/or other elite professional sports
  • Experience of managing a team and budget
  • Ability to tailor content towards relevant markets and channels
  • Experience in crisis communications

The Role

Sport and sports sponsorship are set for high growth over the next 5 years by realising sport’s digital potential. InCrowd has been successful in delivering value to high profile clients including UEFA, Formula 1, Premiership Rugby, Crystal Palace and the ECB and we are looking to build on that success with a particular focus on sports sponsorship.

You will build sponsorship strategies with a future thinking approach to value creation for brands and support our clients in realising the value they are sitting on. This is a consulting role to complement the delivery of technology, content and data services at InCrowd.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in delivering paid media campaigns across social, display and programmatic.
  • Hands on delivery experience with social ad tools, DMPs and DSPs.
  • An understanding of what makes a campaign successful for advertisers with a data led approach.
  • A strategic mind and ability to translate experience of digital campaigns into new innovative structures in traditional sport sponsorship.
  • Confident and articulate when engaging with clients.
  • Commercially minded with a desire to seek out new business opportunities.
  • Ability to deal with competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

What will you be doing for InCrowd?

  • Developing InCrowd’s paid media consulting offering for clients, this will predominantly be strategic work although there may be some hands on delivery required.
  • Delivering strategic sponsorship projects for InCrowd clients helping them package rights, present to the market and deliver value to their brand partners.
  • Supporting a sales process for new sponsorship consulting business with a focus on digital media.
  • Working with clients to use InCrowd’s digital and data technology with paid media to help achieve their business objectives.
  • Ideating and guiding on best practice activation of fanbases for brands to help achieve the clients objectives.
  • Produce relevant, timely reports for both the client and internally, highlighting performance of InCrowd in supporting the clients commercial objectives and making recommendations.
  • Support new business in pitch presentations, costings and providing case studies of successful account metrics.
  • Visiting clients across the UK (and abroad where needed) to build relationships.
  • Reporting into our Chief Strategy Officer.
