To lead the identification, development, and implementation of new growth opportunities in the metaverse, working collaboratively across the business to further the enterprise value and increase brand exposure of CFG

Your Impact

  • Define and implement the strategic direction of the Metaverse team, with the support of the Head of Esports, Gaming and Metaverse
  • Build and line-manage a Metaverse team with responsibility for recruitment, training and professional development of the team
  • Have responsibility for the creation and financial delivery of business plan against budget, with the support of the Head of Esports, Gaming and Metaverse
  • Lead and have responsibility for the identification and delivery of key Metaverse projects to include within Virtual Worlds, Web3/Blockchain, Extended Reality and Artificial Intelligence
  • Lead and have responsibility for the development of metaverse-related research, insights and benchmarks, to create a centre of excellence, able to share knowledge group-wide
  • Lead and have responsibility for the strategic planning, budget management and day-to-day operations of ongoing Metaverse projects
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and CFG partners to develop, refine and deliver opportunities, across Metaverse-related project workstreams group-wide
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, providing knowledge and expertise to support the sale and management of metaverse-related partnerships and IP rights
  • Be the point of contact for internal stakeholders and partners for information, input and delivery support for metaverse-related projects
  • Provide sector insight and deliver presentations to internal clients across CFG and external partners as relevant

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Intimate understanding of Virtual Worlds, Web3/Blockchain, Extended Reality and Artificial Intelligence
  • Excellent understanding of the wider metaverse ecosystem including governance, regulatory structures and business models
  • Strong understanding of key business & strategy concepts, including market sizing, financial analysis, business case development & strategy planning
  • Highly capable user of Microsoft Office, able to efficiently build well-structured and flexible ‘client ready’ models, create ‘client ready’ decks
  • Competent manager of people, able to develop strong interpersonal relationships and support others in their personal and professional development
  • Able to develop stakeholder management relationships with managers across CFG departments
  • Ability to communicate complex information or analysis concisely to non-technical audiences across CFG
  • Solutions-focussed approach
  • Analytical mindset and able to present information clearly and concisely
  • Results orientated and drives to meet internal deadlines for providing work outputs
  • Flexibility – able to pivot quickly across a range of projects that could vary significantly by entity / client / project focus / deliverable / scale / timeline / approach / manager style
