Inter Milan President Confirms Talks with Indonesian Investor

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti (pictured) has confirmed that talks over the sale of a large share in the club to Indonesian media tycoon Erick Thohir are advancing but are still a ‘long way off’ being completed.

Moratti owns approximately 90% of the Serie A club and has been approached by Thohir to originally take 40% of the business, viagra 40mg rising to a majority stake in the coming years.

Reports on the weekend suggested the deal was close to being completed, but Moratti has denied this and said to Sky Sport Italia: “Everybody is taking it for granted and, as a fan of this club, I believe it will happen, but there is little truth to what I have read (in the papers).

“I believe there will be some more meetings this week, but we are still a long way off concluding.”

Thohir heads several Indonesian media groups and is the majority owner of Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise D.C. United.

He has previously been in control of the NBA team the Philadelphia 76ers.
