Indianapolis Colts Join Forces with Online University WGU Indiana

Former Colts player Ken Dilger will serve as a university spokesperson following his enrollment in the university’s MBA program.
“As a business owner, sickness parent and coach, I knew going back to school for my MBA could be a challenge. I needed a flexible, accredited option, so I chose WGU Indiana,” Dilger said.
A native of Mariah Hill, Indiana, Dilger received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Illinois in 1994. He spent seven years with the Colts as a tight end before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, winning Super Bowl XXXVII in 2002. Dilger retired from the NFL in 2005.

As part of the partnership, Dilger will appear in WGU Indiana marketing materials and advertisements. By posting to the university’s social media platforms, he will share thoughts about his studies.
WGU Indiana offers more than 50 accredited, online, competency-based degree programs in high-demand career fields of business, information technology, teacher education and health professions, including nursing. Each WGU Indiana student, including Dilger, is partnered with a faculty mentor who provides one-on-one coaching, guidance and support from enrollment through graduation.
“I am excited to have a mentor fully committed to my success,” said Dilger. “It’s a lot like having a position coach in the NFL. I think that support system is really important.”
