Sports betting company Tipico agrees Bundesliga sponsorship agreement

Sports betting company Tipico has agreed a sponsorship agreement with the DFL (German Football Association) covering both the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga club competitions
The deal commenced in January 2018 and runs until the end of the 2020/21 season.
As part of the partnership, Tipico is allowed to advertise with the competitions’ logos and will receive a first-right option in DFL media contracts and the so-called ‘matching offer right’ with regard to special forms of advertising for national licensees and sector exclusivity for corresponding bookings.
Tipico will also be integrated into the DFL media platforms as part of a digital package.
