FIVB and Dutch Olympic Committee Join Panel for Digital Media & Technology Masterclass

iSportconnect, capsule the world’s largest global private network of sports business executives, is delighted to announce Thomas van Schaik, Manager of Marketing and Commerce at the Netherlands Olympic Committee (NOC) and Motasem El Bawab, Digital Marketing Manager at the FIVB (International Volleyball Federation) as the first confirmed panellists for the Digital Media & Technology Masterclass in Lausanne.
The event is in association with the ASOIF (Association of Summer Olympic International Federations) and will be making its second appearance in the Swiss city on 28th September at the Maison du Sport International.
Before his current role at the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), Motasem El Bawab was part of digital transformation projects for major clients in the CPG sector such as P&G, Heinz, Danone and Reebok/CCM.
Since July 2014 Motasem has been based in the FIVB Office in Lausanne Switzerland and has led their digital projects on their Social Media, Web and Mobile.
Motasem is currently the digital marketing manager of the FIVB, in charge of implementing digital marketing campaigns targeted to engage fans during major events such as the Volleyball World Championships in Poland, Italy and in the Netherlands for Beach Volleyball.
Thomas van Schaik was named as the manager of marketing and commerce at the Dutch Olympic Committee this month after spending almost 15 years in various roles at Adidas.
His most recent role at the sports brand was as global brand director where he was responsible for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, London 2012 Olympic Games and Leo Messi.
van Schaik specialises in sponsorship, athlete branding, real-time marketing & branded content.
