Overview:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- – Oversee all reporting and analytical review of financial data.
- – Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements including (GAAP), NFL Reporting, and all other rules, regulations and standards. Provide clear communication and recommendations on complex accounting transactions.
- – Actively work with auditors to complete audits.
- – Oversee development of taxable income and related filings provided to partners.
- – Evaluate accounting and tax implications for multiple affiliated entities
- – Assist with managing and projecting cash flows.
- – Oversee reporting and compliance for non-profit entity.
- – Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating as intended quality assurance, proper segregation of duties and process efficiencies.
- – Drive organization’s use of technology for financial management.
- – Establish strategies and objectives to support long-term strategic objectives and short-term position goals.
- – Create a team culture of development.
- – Oversee the general ledger, fixed assets, and accounts payable activity, including reconciliations and monthly reporting.
- – Lead the development, review and revision of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Includes appropriately challenging assumptions, providing insights, and making necessary judgments.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- – Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related business field
- – 6+ years progressive experience in an accounting or financial role
- – 4+ years leadership/management experience
Preferred:
- – CPA license
- – 4+ years public accounting audit experience
- – Project/Construction management experience/knowledge
- – Ability to proactively and independently manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks/projects.
Skills Required:
- – Skills in navigating various financial applications, including evaluating developing technologies.
- – Competency with applicable GAAP and ability to research/evaluate existing and new guidance.
- – Ability to review complex contracts, identify accounting and finance issues, and drive resolution.
- – Ability to take innovative approaches to improve processes and solves problems.
- – Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a collaborative team.
- – Excellent interpersonal skills and superior written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact and collaborate at all levels within the organization.
- – Strong analytical and problem solving skills using sound judgment with strategic and tactical perspectives.
- – Strong desire to learn unique business acumen and understand the “why;” not just the “what.”
- – Strong leadership skills and presence and desire to effectively influence and make decisions.
- – Display and promote best in class conduct and behavior consistent with organizational standards.

- – Excellent computer skills in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
