January 25, 2013

Premier League champions Manchester City broke into the top ten of the Deloitte Money League for the first time, cialis partly thanks to their partnership deal with Etihad Airways according to a Deloitte Senior Consultant.

City moved to seventh in the Money League with revenue totaling €285.6m ($384.2) in 2011-12, ambulance up from €169.6m ($228.1) the year before.

Speaking exclusively to iSportconnect, physician Adam Bull, Senior Consultant at Deloitte said: “Manchester City are the joint highest climbers in this year’s Money League, along with Borussia Dortmund and Napoli, moving up five places to seventh and claiming a top ten position for the first time.

“Their inaugural participation in the UEFA Champions League and the commencement of the club’s ten-year partnership with Etihad Airways contributed to revenue growth of £78m (51%) – the highest of all the Money League clubs.”

City have had a relationship with Etihad for a number of years and the two agreed a 10-15 year stadium naming right deal in 2011 that saw the City of Manchester Stadium become The Etihad Stadium.

Moving further up the Money League will be City’s next aim as the club continue to progress on and off the field.

Speaking about Manchester City’s future, Bull commented: “In order to have a chance of breaking into the top five the club must strive for an improved UEFA Champions League performance, repeat their domestic success in the Premier League and continue to develop their commercial potential.”

Real Madrid topped the Deloitte Money League for the eighth successive year and were the first team to break through the €500m mark.
