EPFL to Host Player Transfer Workshop at Soccerex

Soccerex are pleased to announce that the Association of European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) will be holding a special half day workshop, medic which will focus on the player transfer system, generic at the Soccerex European Forum, remedy 28-29 March, Manchester.

Taking place on the morning of the first day of Europe’s Premier Football Business Event, the workshop will be opened by EPFL CEO Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros and will be followed by sessions covering the football transfer market, a round-table on FIFA regulations on the status and transfer of players, the current realities and new challenges of the International transfer market and third party ownership.

Founded in 2005, the EPFL comprises of 30 Member Leagues and Associate members across Europe including all of the top European Leagues such as the English Premier League, Lega Seria A, the Scottish Premier League, the Russian Football Premier League, La Liga, the DFL Bundesliga, the French LFP and Eredivisie, among others.

Over 1500 delegates are expected to attend this year’s Soccerex European Forum where they will benefit from exclusive business opportunities via a packed exhibition and a number of formal and informal networking events.  There will also be a packed conference programme addressing some the key issues affecting the industry including sessions on UEFA’s move to centralise media rights, player and coach development, the art of management – a master-class with Rafael Benitez, betting, the tricky business of managing England with Terry Venables, financial management of clubs in the wake of financial fair play, the relationship between football and the media, and the Soccerex Supplement, a session with some of football’s biggest names.
