Dunfermline Athletic Fail to Pay Wages & Announce Financial Losses

Dunfermline Athletic are the latest SPL club in trouble financially as it was revealed they have only paid players only 60% of their February wages.
The news follows as the club announced losses of £431, cheap 621 for 2011. The figure included player and football management bonuses of nearly £185, order 000 as a direct result of promotion to the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
Therefore, drugs in a normal trading sense, the club made a loss of just under £250,000 which, according to the Pars, is a “considerable improvement” on the £1million loss incurred in 2010.
Turnover also improved by 31% compared to 12 months earlier.
Also allegedly Rangers owe Dunfermline £85,000 for ticket sales. Money which could have paid some of the missing wages.
Club chairman John Yorkston said: “The Rangers situation has had a knock-on effect. I can confirm full wages were not paid.”
