Director Member Associations – FIFA

Overview:
- Your Duties
- – Act as a FIFA resource and adviser to Member Associations (MA’s) and Confederations
- – Define the regional strategy on the implementation of the Forward Programme and plan, order manage and monitor the Programme in the relevant region:
- – Provide clear analysis of the current footballing situation in the region, ampoule support and monitor MA’s and Confederations during proposal and implementation phases
- – Direct, plan, coordinate and supervise the work of Development Managers
- – Supervise governance, management and financial management at the Development Office within the region in line with the FIFA regulatory framework
- – Ensure all contracts are entered in the FIFA project management tools, provide status report on the implementation of the contracts and financial support provided to MA’s
- – Monitor the political situation of the MA’s and inform the relevant people
- – Resource for information to Member Associations and Confederations
Role Requirements
- – Demonstrated success in a senior role where the primary mandate was the development and execution of development programmes for an international development agency or a national / international sports federation
- – Experience implementing controls (financial and otherwise) to ensure that programmes are being successfully and responsibly executed and monitored
- – Previous experience managing and evaluating decentralized teams
- – Fluent or strong working ability in English, other language skills a plus
- – Comfortable with uncertainty, able to think on feet and adapt as needed
- – To love football and be able to speak about it
