Corinthians to Sign New Shirt Sponsorship with Brazilian Bank
November 20, 2012

Corinthians had been without a main jersey sponsor since April when its deal with pharmaceutical company Hypermarcas expired. U
Until now the club had agreed to a number of temporary jersey sponsorship deals for its games but no long-term contract. The agreement with Caixa Econômica Federal will run through 2014.
The bank will be Corinthians’ only jersey sponsor when it plays in the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan later this year, as football’s governing body only allows participating clubs one jersey sponsor for the tournament. For the rest of the contract, Caixa Econômica Federal will not have exclusivity on the jersey of the São Paulo club.
The official announcement is expected later on Tuesday.
