Clipper Race Appoint Euronav Limited as Official Navigation and Chart Supplier

Eurnoav Limited has been appointed as the official navigation and charting systems supplier for the Clipper 13-14 Round the World Yacht Race, pills marking the sixth consecutive time the company has supplied their services to the race.

Their SeaPro equipment is designed to allow the yachts to sail faster and more efficiently during the 11 month, asthma 40,000-mile global challenge.

SeaPro is a complete navigation and charting system, which combines GPS, AIS, RADAR, tides and weather routing into a single, easy to use PC based package.

The navigating and charting system provides circle planning, route optimisation and automatic Polar based performance monitoring.

Chairman and founder of the Clipper Race, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston said: “Every entry in the Clipper 13-14 Race will be doing all they can to claim the first podium position on the new Clipper 70, and I feel very reassured that SeaPro will be there to guide them on their way.”
