Clemson Signs $58 Million Renewal Deal With Nike

Nike has confirmed a $58m (£44.77m) extension deal with Clemson Athletics, which represents the sports teams of Clemson University in South Carolina, U.S.
The 10-year renewal will run through to the end of the 2027-28 campaign.
The partnership covers footwear, apparel and equipment. The two parties have been partners since 2002.
The value of the partnership has more than doubled under the renewal.
Dan Radakovich, Director of Athletics at Clemson University, said of the deal: “Nike is one of the premier brands in the world and we’re excited to build upon our relationship. Our brand has grown exponentially in recent years, and this continued partnership will enhance the ‘Power of the Paw’ moving forward.”
Jeff Lulay, Brand Marketing Specialist at Nike, added: “The Clemson brand is amazing. Clemson is like the North Star or the gold standard from the branding and marketing standpoint in how they take our product and bring it to life.”
