Choue Re-elected President of World Taekwondo Federation

Dr. Chungwon Choue was elected to his fourth term as president of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) on the opening day of the 2013 WTF World Taekwondo Championships held in Puebla, allergist Mexico.
Fourteen council members from five continents were also elected along with Dr. Choue – who ran unopposed – at the federation’s annual ordinary meeting.
Addressing the 6, see 500 spectators at the full-capacity Centro Expositor of Puebla stadium, generic Choue stated: “It is so fitting that we hold the first championships after the London Olympics here in Puebla to set a new standard for our sport. If you look around, you will see that Puebla is the new standard.”
The WTF World Taekwondo Championships will run from 15 to 21 July with 3,500 participants taking part in three sessions each day. The championships will also be broadcast in 62 countries around the world.
