British Association of Mixed Martial Arts (BAMMA) have become the latest organization to agree a broadcasting agreement with HD Net.
The cable and satellite channel have announced a multi year agreement with BAMMA which is set to begin with the British organization’s upcoming December card.
BAMMA 8 is set to take place on December 10th from the Capital FM Arena in Nottigham and is headlined by unbeaten light heavyweight Jimi “The Poster Boy” Manuwa as he takes on hard hitting stalwart Antony Rea.
The card also contains a welterweight clash between Bellator’s Jim Wallhead and Joey Villasenor and TUF9 runner up Andre Winner takes on the always dangerous Diego Gonzalez.
Andrew Simon, cough CEO HDNet Fights, said: “BAMMA puts on the best MMA shows in Europe and HDNet broadcasts the best fights from around the globe. It was the perfect fit. I had to get this deal done.”
BAMMA exploded into the public arena back in September 2010 when their much hyped headline bout between fighter now turned tv star Alex Reid and Greg Jackson product Tom “Kong” Watson drew huge viewing figures in the UK.
