Brendan Flood Steps Down from Burnley’s Board

Brendan Flood has relinquished his position on Burnley’s board of director’s with immediate effect.
The Championship club announced that Flood has left his role at Turf Moor due to “personal reasons”.
Lifelong fan Flood joined the club’s board in 2006 and was instrumental in the club’s promotion to the Premier League in 2009.
The Clarets paid thanks to Rossendale businessman Flood in a statement on their website.
“Burnley Football Club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Brendan for his contribution to the club, of which he remains a valued supporter and significant shareholder.”
