Bevington Named Interim Communications Chief at FA
June 1, 2011
Following the recent departure of the FA’s director of Marketing and Communications, Julian Eccles, it has been announced that Adrian Bevington will take temporary charge of The FA Communications department.
Bevington will be in place for an interim period until a permanent replacement for Eccles is appointed and he has agreed to take on executive management responsibility for the Communications area during that time.
Bevington has extensive management experience in this area after several years as director of Communications before taking on the role as Club England MD.
Mark Whittle and Scott Field will continue as the key media contacts on a daily basis. The Marketing and Public Affairs areas will report directly into FA general secretary Alex Horne during this period.
