Fast & Furious, one of the worlds’ most popular and enduring film saga’s is preparing to hit the road for a global arena tour debuting in January 2018. This groundbreaking new show is set to be the most spectacular live automotive production in history. Fast & Furious Live is produced by Brand Events under license from Universal Studios.

The project seeks an Account Manager to be responsible for managing and executing all activities associated with assigned Partnership Accounts for the Fast & Furious Live global arena tour. The Sponsorship Account Manager also provides support for the creation, development and execution of various sponsorship initiatives and marketing events.

 

THE ROLE - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for understanding each assigned account’s business goals and objectives
  • Generate ideas for new sponsorship opportunities
  • Ability to effectively present information to sponsors and to internal stakeholders
  • Be responsible for sponsor’s and partner’s promotional activations within agreed rights and benefits and work closely with marketing to execute this on social and marketing materials
  • Organise and execute sponsors on-site hospitality
  • Play an essential role in maintaining collateral, articles, photographs, newspaper clippings, press releases, statistics, etc. for use in preparing and presenting inclusive sponsorship updates to key decision makers during the contract renewal process and internal stakeholders
  • Assist on a day to day to basis with sponsorship and partnership proposals
  • Be prepared to travel to meetings and throughout the arena tour to execute and monitor sponsor promotions and activities
  • Manage and track all account history, relationship details and partnership activation details

  • PRIMARY RELATIONSHIPS
  • Within the organisation, the position has primary working relationships with the Head of Commercial Sponsorships & Partnerships, staff of the marketing/communication /PR function, and service providers
  • Outside the organisation, the position coordinates with multiple stakeholders including Universal Studios, local promoters and freelancers /support staff, service providers, external PR and marketing agencies, and promotional partners

 

CANDIDATE REQUIRED CRITERIA – Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sponsorship preferred
  • Experience in both the sales and activation functions of sponsorship
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong time management and administrative skills
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and international travel
